SAL 2017 Back-to-School Luncheon to support Writers in the Schools SAL 2017 Back-to-School Luncheon to support Writers in the Schools SEP 27, 2017

Join us for SAL’s Back-to-School Luncheon and help inspire thousands of K-12 students to discover the power of their creative voices.

The event will raise essential funding for SAL’s Writers in the Schools (WITS) program, which matches talented professional writers with local public schools and Seattle Children’s Hospital for year-long writing residencies. Last year WITS writers helped more than 6,000 students at 27 public schools to build self-confidence, community, and essential writing skills as they learned to tell their unique stories through creative writing.

Come hear firsthand from students, writers and teachers at the Back-to-School Luncheon about how the WITS program changes lives, and how you can be a part of that change. We would love to see you there!

Admission is free; all guests will be invited to make a donation.

Registration is now closed. If you are still interested in attending the luncheon, please contact Alison Stagner at 206-621-2230, ext. 21.

Can you help us fill the room as a table captain? Would your company like to be a sponsor? Please contact Leanne Skooglund at 206-621-2230, ext. 17, or This Link Requires Javascript.
